Delta SSA, ACNPN Leadership Visit Oshimili North Chairman, Laud Tinubu, Oborevwori, LG Chairmen’s Developmental Strides

The Association of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria (ACNPN), Delta State Council, alongside the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Delta State Governor on Community Newspapers, Comrade Prince Joseph Orhomonokpaye, has commended the developmental achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and the Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area, Olorogun Innocent Esewezie.

The commendation came on Thursday during a courtesy visit by the ACNPN leadership, led by its State Chairman, Comrade Ike Philip Abiagom, to the Oshimili North Council Chairman at his liaison office.

The meeting provided a platform for discussions on governance, grassroots development, media partnership, security, politics, and the role of community newspapers in promoting government policies and programmes.

Speaking during the visit, members of the delegation praised Esewezie’s administration for executing people-oriented projects and implementing policies they said have positively impacted residents across Oshimili North.

Responding, Esewezie appreciated the delegation for the visit and acknowledged the role of community newspapers in promoting grassroots awareness and democratic governance.

He maintained that many of the developmental gains being recorded across the country are linked to the bold economic reforms introduced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly the removal of fuel subsidy, which he described as a difficult but necessary decision aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s economy for long-term growth.

The council chairman also highlighted ongoing constitutional and institutional reforms, including moves toward state policing, describing them as strategic steps to strengthen security and deepen good governance.

According to him, the synergy between the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the Delta State Government’s M.O.R.E. Agenda has created greater opportunities for local governments to deliver meaningful projects and improve the welfare of citizens.

Earlier, the SSA to the Governor on Community Newspapers, Comrade Prince Joseph Orhomonokpaye, described Esewezie as an accessible, humble, and result-oriented administrator, urging him to sustain the pace of development in Oshimili North.

Also speaking, ACNPN Delta State Chairman, Comrade Ike Philip Abiagom, applauded the council chairman’s performance and reaffirmed the association’s commitment to promoting responsible journalism and ensuring that accurate information on government policies reaches the grassroots.

Abiagom urged the council chairman to continue collaborating with community newspaper publishers, describing them as the closest media bridge between government and the people.

The association also reiterated its support for the programmes of the Tinubu and Oborevwori administrations, pledging to continue sensitising the public on government initiatives while promoting constructive engagement between government and citizens.

Members further expressed their readiness to mobilise support for the re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori in the 2027 general elections, citing what they described as the developmental achievements of both administrations.

In his closing remarks, Esewezie charged community newspaper publishers to remain objective, professional, and committed to factual and balanced reporting. He stressed the importance of responsible journalism in countering misinformation, promoting public enlightenment, and showcasing developmental projects across Delta State.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, grassroots development, and sustained collaboration with the media in advancing community development.

First Lady Donates ₦2bn to Revive Akwete Textile Industry, Seeks Global Recognition for Indigenous Fabric

The Federal Government’s drive to promote Nigeria’s indigenous industries received a major boost on Tuesday as First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, announced a ₦2 billion intervention to revive the historic Akwete textile industry in Abia State.

The initiative is expected to strengthen local textile production, preserve one of Nigeria’s oldest weaving traditions and create new economic opportunities for artisans, particularly women who have sustained the craft for generations.

Speaking during a visit to the Akwete weaving community in Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State, the First Lady described the industry as an important part of Nigeria’s cultural identity that deserves greater investment and national recognition.

She said the intervention would support the expansion and modernization of Akwete textile production, improve the capacity of local weavers and encourage younger generations to embrace the centuries-old craft.

Mrs. Tinubu also urged Nigerians to patronise locally made fabrics, stressing that promoting indigenous products would not only preserve the nation’s rich cultural heritage but also stimulate economic growth, create employment and reduce dependence on imported textiles.

For decades, Akwete cloth has remained one of Nigeria’s most distinctive handwoven fabrics, renowned for its intricate patterns, durability and cultural significance. Despite its rich history and craftsmanship, the industry has struggled with inadequate investment, declining patronage and competition from imported textile products.

Industry observers believe the ₦2 billion intervention could mark a turning point if accompanied by sustained investment in modern production facilities, skills development, market access and branding capable of positioning Akwete fabric competitively in domestic and international markets.

The initiative also aligns with broader national efforts to diversify the economy through the promotion of local manufacturing, creative industries and cultural enterprises, sectors increasingly recognised for their potential to generate employment and boost non-oil revenue.

Stakeholders say the success of the programme will ultimately depend on transparent implementation, continued government support and active collaboration with artisans, private investors and development partners to ensure that the intervention delivers lasting economic and social benefits for the Akwete community and the country at large.

No Safe Haven for Criminals as Army, NSCDC Forge Stronger Security Alliance in Delta

The Nigeria Army and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening inter-agency collaboration to combat crime and enhance the protection of critical national assets across Delta State.

This renewed commitment was made on Monday, July 21, 2026, when the newly redeployed Commander of the 63 Brigade, Nigerian Army, and Commander of Sector 1, Joint Task Force (JTF) South-South, Operation Delta Safe, Brig. Gen. I.B. Buhari, paid a courtesy visit to the Delta State Commandant of the NSCDC, Commandant Chinedu F. Igbo, at the State Command Headquarters.

During the visit, Brig. Gen. Buhari, accompanied by senior officers of the brigade, expressed appreciation for the warm reception and commended the NSCDC Delta Command for its consistent cooperation with the Nigerian Army and other security agencies in tackling crime and criminality across the state.

The brigade commander, who assumed office on July 20, 2026, said his priority is to make Delta State more secure through stronger collaboration among security agencies, particularly in the protection of critical national assets and infrastructure.

He stressed the need for enhanced real-time intelligence sharing, improved professional engagement, and greater accessibility between both agencies to effectively address emerging security challenges.

Brig. Gen. Buhari also praised NSCDC personnel serving in the Joint Task Force, describing them as disciplined, professional, and capable officers who have continued to distinguish themselves in joint operations.

Responding, Delta State NSCDC Commandant Chinedu F. Igbo thanked the army commander for making the corps one of his first official points of call after assuming office.

He reaffirmed the command’s commitment to sustaining the existing cordial relationship with the Nigerian Army and other security agencies.

According to the commandant, effective collaboration remains essential to maintaining peace and ensuring the safety of lives and property across Delta State.

The visit concluded with both security chiefs pledging to deepen cooperation and provide mutual support whenever the need arises, reinforcing their shared resolve to deny criminals any operating space within the state.

‘Please Forgive Us’ Mutfwang Apologises to Igbos Over Civil War Role

Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has formally apologize to the Igbo community on behalf of the people of Plateau State over the state’s role during the Nigerian Civil War (1967–1970), describing the gesture as a step toward healing, reconciliation, and lasting unity.

The governor made the apology during an interactive meeting with leaders of the Igbo community drawn from the 17 local government areas of the state at the Government House in Jos on Sunday.

Mutfwang said Plateau people were misled into participating in the civil war under the military administration of former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, who hails from the state.

He stressed that it was time to move beyond the painful memories of the conflict and strengthen the bond between Plateau people and the Igbo community.

“I apologise to the Igbos so that we can put the past behind us and continue to foster unity,” the governor said.

“We have become one family because our people were deceived into going to war, and we regret it. We must close that chapter and move forward.”

The governor commended the Igbo community for its significant contributions to the socio-economic development of Plateau State, describing them as valued partners in the state’s growth and development.

He noted that Plateau has remained one of the most accommodating states for the Igbo people since the end of the civil war and recalled that compensation had been paid to some victims who suffered losses during the conflict.

“We want the Igbos to regard us as their brothers and sisters. Together, we must create an enabling environment where everyone can prosper,” he said.

Mutfwang also praised the entrepreneurial spirit of the Igbo people, urging them to expand their investments in Plateau State while encouraging Igbo business owners to mentor, employ, and train young Plateau indigenes.

“Nigeria is a great country, and no ethnic group has demonstrated the entrepreneurial spirit more than the Igbo. I encourage you to replicate that same spirit in Plateau,” he added.

Responding on behalf of the Igbo community, the President-General of the Igbo Community in Plateau State, Chief Chidi Onah, praised Governor Mutfwang for his inclusive leadership, prudent management of public resources, and commitment to peaceful coexistence.

Onah announced that the Igbo community had unanimously endorsed Mutfwang for a second term ahead of the 2027 Plateau State governorship election.

“We hereby endorse Governor Caleb Mutfwang as the consensus candidate of the Igbo community for the 2027 governorship election.

This endorsement is based on his competence, integrity, proven leadership, and commitment to equity,” he said.

According to Onah, the governor has fostered peace, created a business-friendly environment, and demonstrated genuine concern for the welfare of the Igbo community, including standing with them during the passing of their traditional ruler.

He also commended the governor for compensating some members of the community over disputed properties and urged Nigerians, irrespective of ethnic or religious affiliation, to support his administration.

The meeting highlighted renewed calls for reconciliation, stronger inter-ethnic cooperation, and deeper economic partnerships between the Plateau State Government and the Igbo community.

2027: AAC Governorship Candidate Isaac Eshor Unveils Bold Blueprint to Industrialise Delta Through Maritime Revolution

The governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Delta State, Engr. Isaac Eshor, has unveiled an ambitious development agenda aimed at transforming Delta into an industrial and maritime powerhouse through strategic investments in infrastructure, job creation, youth empowerment, and economic diversification.

Eshor, an indigene of Ebu Kingdom in Oshimili North Local Government Area, said his aspiration to govern the state is driven by a commitment to unlock Delta’s vast economic potential and improve the quality of life for all residents.

According to him, despite the state’s abundant natural and human resources, many communities still grapple with poor infrastructure, unemployment, inadequate healthcare, environmental challenges, and limited economic opportunities.

“My aspiration to lead Delta State is driven by a sincere desire to liberate our people from the shackles of underdevelopment and unlock the enormous potential that exists in every community across the state,” Eshor said.

He pledged that, if elected in 2027, his administration would focus on delivering quality infrastructure, accessible healthcare, improved education, youth empowerment, agricultural development, industrialisation, and technological innovation.

The AAC candidate stressed that job creation and investment attraction would be at the heart of his administration, noting that development must be inclusive and reach every community, regardless of political or ethnic affiliation.

“I believe every Deltan deserves access to good roads, clean water, reliable electricity, quality healthcare, and opportunities to achieve their full potential. My government will be transparent, accountable, and people-centred,” he stated.

A major highlight of Eshor’s economic blueprint is his proposal to establish a world-class dockyard in Delta State, a project he described as a game-changer for the state’s economy.

He explained that the proposed dockyard would leverage Delta’s extensive coastline, waterways, and strategic location to position the state as a leading maritime and industrial hub in Nigeria and West Africa.

Drawing comparisons with the success of Nigerdock in Lagos, Eshor argued that Delta possesses all the natural advantages needed to become a major force in the maritime industry but has lacked the visionary leadership to harness those opportunities.

According to him, the dockyard would generate thousands of direct and indirect jobs in shipbuilding, vessel repairs, fabrication, logistics, transportation, and other marine-related industries, while attracting both local and foreign investments.

He added that the project would also provide technical and vocational training opportunities for young people, equipping them with skills needed to thrive in the maritime sector.

“Economic transformation does not happen through speeches alone. It requires deliberate investments in critical infrastructure that can stimulate growth, create jobs, and attract investors. A modern dockyard will help revive Delta’s marine economy and position the state as a destination for maritime business in West Africa,” Eshor said.

Calling on Deltans to embrace a new vision anchored on innovation, transparency, industrial growth, and inclusive governance, the governorship hopeful expressed confidence that the state can achieve greater prosperity through purposeful leadership.

“Delta State can be greater than it is today. Together, we can build a future where our youths have opportunities, our communities have development, and our economy works for everyone,” he declared.

Eshor reaffirmed his commitment to providing leadership that would transform Delta State into a model of sustainable development, economic prosperity, and industrial excellence.

“Eshor is Sure for Delta.”

Oborevwori Swears In New Commissioners, Tasks Appointees on Integrity, Transparency and Service Delivery

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has sworn in two new commissioners and other key public office holders, charging them to uphold the highest standards of integrity, transparency, professionalism, and accountability in the discharge of their duties.

The swearing-in ceremony, held on Tuesday in Asaba, saw Mr. Brave Enodeh and Mr. Moses Ogodo inaugurated as Commissioners and members of the Delta State Executive Council.

The governor also inaugurated Mr. Cosmas Igbenije as a member of the Governing Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), alongside Chief Joseph Ojobu, Chief James Obeuwou, and Mr. Fun-Ebi Edonyabo as members of the Delta State Judicial Service Commission.

Governor Oborevwori explained that the appointments of Enodeh and Ogodo became necessary following the resignation of two former commissioners who stepped down to contest seats in the Delta State House of Assembly.

Addressing the appointees, the governor urged them to demonstrate exemplary leadership, unwavering commitment, and a strong sense of responsibility, noting that their appointments come with the mandate to strengthen governance and accelerate development across the state.

He emphasized that beyond policy formulation, public office holders must promote transparency, accountability, and fairness in the discharge of their official responsibilities.

“Your actions should inspire public confidence and reinforce our administration’s commitment to the M.O.R.E. Agenda,” the governor stated.

Congratulating Mr. Cosmas Igbenije on his appointment to the DESOPADEC Governing Board, Governor Oborevwori urged him to justify the confidence reposed in him through dedication, discipline, and commitment to the sustainable development of oil-producing communities.

The governor recalled that the tenure of the current DESOPADEC Governing Board was recently extended by one year to ensure continuity in ongoing projects and effective delivery of the commission’s statutory responsibilities.
He noted that the board has recorded significant achievements, including the construction of roads, classroom blocks, markets, health centres, electricity infrastructure, water projects, and other community development initiatives across oil-bearing communities.

Expressing confidence in the board’s capacity to build on its successes, Oborevwori encouraged members to deepen stakeholder engagement and ensure projects continue to reflect the needs and aspirations of host communities.

Speaking to the newly inaugurated members of the Delta State Judicial Service Commission, the governor stressed that only individuals of proven integrity and unquestionable character could be entrusted with the constitutional responsibility of overseeing the appointment, promotion, discipline, and welfare of judicial officers.

He charged the commission to discharge its duties with fairness, impartiality, transparency, and the fear of God to sustain an independent, effective, and corruption-free judiciary.

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, Governor Oborevwori assured Deltans that his government would continue to strengthen collaboration with the judiciary to enhance the state’s justice system and position it as a model for others across the country.
He congratulated all the appointees and prayed for wisdom, strength, and good health to enable them to discharge their responsibilities effectively.

Responding on behalf of the appointees, Commissioner Brave Enodeh expressed gratitude to Governor Oborevwori for the confidence reposed in them and pledged their unwavering commitment to supporting the administration’s vision.

He assured the governor that the newly inaugurated officials would work diligently to advance the M.O.R.E. Agenda and contribute meaningfully to the continued growth and development of Delta State.

We Have Reduced Cultism and Restored Peace in Igbuzo’ – Indomitable Union Chairman, Chief Nwabuwa

For years, the ancient kingdom of Igbuzo in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State grappled with cult-related violence, youth restiveness, and other security challenges that threatened the peace and development of the community. However, Chief Sir Ambassador Azikiwe Jacob Nwabuwa, Chairman of the Indomitable Union of Igbuzo, says the tide has changed through a coordinated community-driven campaign against crime and social vices.

In an exclusive interview with Newsbreeze Magazine, Chief Nwabuwa said the Indomitable Union was established by concerned youths with a clear mission to restore peace, tackle cultism, and revive Igbuzo’s reputation as one of Delta State’s most peaceful and hospitable communities.

According to him, the union has worked closely with traditional institutions, security agencies, and other community stakeholders to combat cultism, violent crime, and drug abuse while promoting responsible citizenship among young people.

‘Our Mission Is to Restore Peace’

Explaining the vision behind the formation of the union, Chief Nwabuwa said the organisation was born out of concern over the decline in security and social values within the community.

He recalled that Igbuzo was once renowned for its peaceful atmosphere, unity, hospitality, and cultural heritage, earning the nickname “Small London” because of its welcoming nature and progressive outlook.

“We decided enough was enough. Our mission is to restore peace and security so everyone can live comfortably in Igbuzo once again,” he said.

He noted that one of the union’s first objectives was to wage a sustained campaign against cultism, insisting that criminal activities would no longer be tolerated in the community.

“We have reduced cultism to the barest minimum. Anyone found engaging in criminal activities is handed over to the appropriate security agencies to face the law. We do not take the law into our own hands,” he stated.

Partnership with Security Agencies

Chief Nwabuwa disclosed that the union has over 100 volunteers who offer selfless service in support of peace and security across Igbuzo.

He also revealed that members of the union have personally invested nearly ₦30 million into security-related activities, stressing that the organisation is not sponsored by any politician or government agency.

According to him, the union enjoys the support of the traditional institution, the Igbuzo Police Division, community leaders, and the Oshimili North Local Government Council.

“We are grateful to His Royal Majesty, the Divisional Police Officer, and every stakeholder working with us to ensure lasting peace in Igbuzo,” he said.

Reaction to Recent Killing

Reacting to the recent reported killing in Igbuzo, Chief Nwabuwa condemned the incident and maintained that those responsible should be prosecuted in accordance with the law.

“The matter is already before the police. We condemn every form of violence and unlawful killing. Anyone who commits such an offence should face the full weight of the law,” he said.

Union Not Created for Politics

Responding to claims that the Indomitable Union was formed to advance his political ambition, Chief Nwabuwa dismissed the allegation, insisting that the organisation remains non-partisan.

He explained that although he has declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives in the 2026 elections, the union was established solely to combat crime and promote peace.

“Our members belong to different political parties, including APC, PDP and others. The union itself is not political. Our focus is peace, security and community development,” he said.

Political Aspiration

Speaking on his political ambition, Chief Nwabuwa said his desire to seek elective office is driven by a passion for public service and community development.

He acknowledged Chief Barr. Fred Ajudua as his political mentor and expressed appreciation for his guidance over the years.

“If given the opportunity to serve in the House of Representatives, I will represent my people with honesty, dedication and integrity,” he said.

Message to the Youth

Advising young
people, Chief Nwabuwa urged them not to be swayed by temporary inducements during elections but to support credible leaders capable of delivering sustainable development.

“The future belongs to the youth. They must make informed decisions and support leaders with character, competence and the commitment to improve society,” he said.

Obi of Ugbolu: Our Kingdom Is Historically Part of Benin, Not Anam

Ugbolu Kingdom, one of the oldest communities in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, has continued to assert its distinct historical identity amid ongoing debates over its origin and traditional status. The community, which traces its ancestry to the ancient Benin Kingdom, has in recent years intensified calls for greater recognition of its traditional institution and historical heritage.
At the centre of the discourse is Ugbolu’s longstanding quest for autonomy and the preservation of what its leaders describe as verifiable historical records dating back several centuries. Community leaders maintain that Ugbolu has existed as an independent settlement since the 16th century and possesses cultural artifacts, oral traditions, and documented records that support its Benin ancestry.

The agitation for autonomy has generated public discussions, particularly following publications and claims linking the community’s origin to Anam in present-day Anambra State.

While some neighbouring communities hold differing historical perspectives, Ugbolu traditional authorities insist that available evidence, including colonial-era court records and ancestral artifacts authenticated by the Benin Royal Palace, supports their position.

In this exclusive interview with community newspaper publishers, the traditional ruler of Ugbolu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Obi Anthony Iweanyi Nwaokolo, JP, speaks on the community’s history, the controversy surrounding its origin, its quest for recognition, and his assessment of the development efforts of the Delta State Government under Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

Excerpts:

Q: Your Royal Majesty, can you briefly introduce yourself?

A: I am His Royal Majesty (HRM) Obi Anthony Iweanyi Nwaokolo, JP, the traditional ruler of Ugbolu Kingdom in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.

Q: Your Majesty, what is your reaction to the recent publication in The Pointer newspaper concerning the origin and history of Ugbolu?

A: History is based on facts, and facts cannot be hidden. Ugbolu traces its origin to the ancient Benin Kingdom. Our progenitor, Olu, was a royal prince from Benin who migrated and settled in what is today known as Ugbolu.

The historical artifacts he brought with him are still preserved in our kingdom to this day.

I strongly disagree with the claim that Ugbolu people originated from Anam. Historical records clearly contradict that assertion.

For example, in 1910, the Odogwu of Ugbolu instituted legal action against some Anam people who were farming in Umuchue, Ugbolu.

The court ruled in favour of Ugbolu and ordered the Anam settlers to pay an annual tribute of 800 tubers of yam to Ugbolu.

That arrangement has continued to this day.
If, as claimed, Ugbolu and Anam are one people, how could a court have ordered Anam people to pay annual tribute to Ugbolu? Such a situation clearly demonstrates that the relationship was not one of common origin but one involving land ownership and customary obligations.

Q: What evidence supports your claim that Ugbolu originated from the Benin Kingdom?

A: The evidence is overwhelming. Some years ago, we took our ancient artifacts, namely the Aga and Ebe, to Benin for verification.

At the time, the late Oba Erediauwa of Benin Kingdom personally examined them.
I was privileged to present Ugbolu’s historical account before the Oba and his palace chiefs. After examining the artifacts, they expressed surprise at how well they had been preserved over the centuries.

We explained that these artifacts are highly revered in our tradition. Whenever they are moved from one location to another, traditional rites, including the slaughtering of goats, are performed as a mark of respect and preservation.

The palace authorities confirmed that such artifacts are unique to the Benin royal heritage and could hardly be found elsewhere outside the Benin Palace.

Their conclusion was clear: the artifacts originated from the Benin Kingdom.

That confirmation further strengthens our historical position that Ugbolu is of Benin origin.

Q: There are also claims regarding the historical relationship between Ugbolu and neighbouring communities. What is your position?

A: Historical facts show that some communities migrated from Ugbolu to their present locations over time.

Oral traditions indicate that such movements occurred during periods of epidemics and other challenges that prompted people to seek safer settlements.

It is important that history is presented accurately and objectively. We should not distort established facts for personal or political reasons.

Q: Some people argue that Ugbolu traditionally paid homage to neighbouring communities such as Okpanam. Is there any truth in that?

A: No. There was never a period when Ugbolu paid homage or royalty to any neighbouring community, including Okpanam.
What existed was a traditional relationship of mutual cooperation. For example, when a community needed an Eze title holder (Red Cap Chief) to perform traditional rites during a coronation, Eze title holders from related communities would sometimes participate in the ceremony.

My father, for instance, participated in the coronation of a traditional Eze title holder in Okpanam in 1975. Likewise, when I took my Eze title, an Eze title holder from Okpanam attended and participated in the ceremony.
Such exchanges were customary and ceremonial; they did not signify political subordination or allegiance.

Q: What message would you like to send to government and the general public regarding this issue?

A: My advice is that government should rely on documented history, verifiable records, and traditional evidence when addressing matters relating to Ugbolu.
Ugbolu has existed as a distinct community for over five centuries. Historical records place our settlement in this area as far back as the 16th century.

By every standard, we are an indigenous community with a rich cultural heritage and established traditional institutions.
We therefore urge government to continue recognising our historical identity and to give due consideration to our aspirations and traditional status.

Q: How would you assess the performance of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori?

A: Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has performed commendably since assuming office. His administration has demonstrated commitment to infrastructure development and the welfare of the people.

One project that stands out is the road linking our area with neighbouring communities, which has greatly improved accessibility and economic activities. The road serves as an important alternative route for commuters and has enhanced connectivity within the state.
The Governor is known for personally inspecting projects to ensure quality execution. This hands-on approach distinguishes him as a leader who is committed to delivering results.

Q: What additional developments would you like the government to bring to Ugbolu?

A: We appreciate the developments already taking place, but there is still room for more.
We would like to see:
More educational facilities and improved schools.
The upgrading of our health centre into a cottage hospital with resident doctors and adequate medical personnel.
Additional infrastructure to accommodate the growing population of the community.
Today, many people are choosing to live in Ugbolu because of its peaceful environment and strategic location. Our modern market has also attracted traders and investors from neighbouring towns.
We therefore appeal for continued government attention to sustain this growth and development.

Q: Any final words?

A: I sincerely thank Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his efforts in developing Delta State. We pray that God grants him wisdom, strength, and good health to continue serving the people effectively.
Our prayer is for peace, progress, and sustained development in Ugbolu, Delta State, and Nigeria as a whole. May God continue to guide our leaders and bless our communities.
A
