The Coordinator of the Vebron Carre Foundation Scholarship Board, Sir Austin Onianwa, has reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to promoting education and supporting indigent students across Igbuzo Kingdom through its annual scholarship programme.
Speaking during an interview with the Newsbreeze Crew, Onianwa described education as a cornerstone of the foundation’s humanitarian mission, stressing that investing in young people remains one of the most effective ways to secure the future of the community.
According to him, the Vebron Carre Foundation, under the leadership of Obi (Dr.) Henry Chukwuma Ajudua and Dr. (Mrs.) Vivian Ajudua, has consistently demonstrated its dedication to educational advancement by awarding scholarships and implementing programmes aimed at easing the financial burden on less-privileged families.
He explained that the annual scholarship scheme was established to support brilliant students whose academic aspirations are threatened by financial hardship, emphasizing that no child should be denied quality education because of poverty.
Onianwa disclosed that the foundation plans to broaden the scope of its educational interventions to enable more deserving students to benefit in the coming years.
He encouraged beneficiaries to remain committed to their studies and make the most of the opportunities provided.
He also applauded the founders of the foundation for their unwavering passion for community development, noting that their philanthropic efforts have impacted numerous families through scholarships, youth empowerment initiatives, healthcare interventions, and other humanitarian programmes.
Describing education as the bedrock of sustainable development, Onianwa said the foundation would remain steadfast in its commitment to human capital development and the nurturing of future leaders.
Residents and stakeholders in Igbuzo also praised the foundation for complementing government efforts in the education sector, expressing optimism that its sustained investment in education would produce professionals and leaders who will contribute meaningfully to the development of Igbuzo Kingdom, Delta State, and Nigeria.
They further called on other philanthropists, corporate organizations, and well-meaning individuals to emulate the foundation’s commitment to educational advancement and community development.
